Agit Kabayel is scheduled to make the first defense of his full WBC heavyweight world championship against unbeaten Albanian challenger Nelson Hysa on November 28, 2026, at ESPRIT Arena in Düsseldorf. The World Boxing Council confirmed the matchup in its October 1 announcement.
Kabayel enters at 27-0 with 19 knockouts, while Hysa is listed at 25-0 with 23 knockouts. Kabayel previously won the WBC interim heavyweight title against Zhang in February 2025, defeated Knyba in January 2026 and was named full WBC champion in June.
The Düsseldorf bout is therefore his first defense as the full world champion. Hysa arrives with a perfect professional record and a high knockout rate, giving the champion a dangerous unbeaten challenger.
As of October 4, the confirmed details are the November 28 date, ESPRIT Arena in Düsseldorf and the full WBC heavyweight world title at stake.
